While I don't believe that designers for hire should be using Wordpress templates designed by somebody else for their clients' projects, I can understand the desire to have a really appealing website for a pet project or family friend who wants a quick blog and low cost.
I've round up five websites that offer quality Wordpress themes that focus on aesthetics on their own website, (which isn't always the case) and in their premium themes.
While DIYTHEMES is not really a premium design theme, it offers you flexibility like no other theme I've found in my travels thus far. In the pricing department, it's available for personal use at $87, and ...

As promised, however I do apologize for the lateness of this post seeing as we're now halfway through October, I'm now making all of the calendar sizes available publicly.
Go to http://www.mediafire.com/duckydesign and you can choose your wallpaper size and whether or not you want it to have the calendar.
I am happy to announce however that my wallpaper was featured on Smashing Magazine's website. So many thanks to the Smashing Magazine team for featuring me in October!
While this isn't really design related, this can be the complete downfall of your work flow. If you're like me, you've got a crappy chair that you constantly shift uncomfortably around in. Alright, so I know that the above image is not of the Objectified poster. In fact it has nothing to do with the documentary by Gary Huswitz. The image is however, courtesy of XTRABOLD, and it made me fondly remember that I needed to pre-order my special edition Blu-ray disc of Objectified. That's right folks! It's now being made for Blu-Ray although Gary at first said that there were too many issues with making it so.
Before I forget, I do however encourage you to take a peek over at XTRABOLD - great work!

But I'll be fair... who better to get the ball rolling than large corporations? And, oh, I don't know, why not pick on Coca-Cola for a moment? The above design has ...

Well, who knows whether or not I'll be picked for Smashing Magazine's upcoming monthly wallpaper calendar contest? What I do know is that I'm posting a preview of it here for everyone to take a look-see (see above).
If you'd like to download it, let me know and I'll start putting up links for the available sizes sooner rather than later. I will have the links up by the end of September so that you're ready to roll in style for the new month.
